Caring for the Caregiver: Birthworkers & Flower Essences

Sliding Scale $20-$40

Join Madison McCoy Of Earth and Sea and Jesse Muzzy of Free Body Fertility for a 60 minute virtual class, Caring for the Caregiver: Birth Workers and Flower Essences.

In this class, we delve deep into the demands and intricacies of birthwork, a sacred and demanding vocation that encompasses both the physical and emotional realms of human existence. Birthworkers encounter a myriad of experiences that shape their practice and influence their emotional well-being. From moments of profound joy and empowerment to encounters with burnout, feeling unwelcome, or disrespected by hospital systems and societal norms, birthworkers navigate a complex tapestry of emotions and challenges.
However, amidst the challenges and complexities of birthwork lies a sense of mystery and magic. This parallels the power of flower essences, which are potent remedies derived from the vibrational energy of flowers. By inviting the flowers in as allies, birthworkers can find support and solace in addressing the demands and common experiences of their practice. These essences act as gentle yet powerful allies, offering emotional nourishment, resilience, and a sense of balance amidst the chaos.

In this class, we will

  • Affirm common demands of birthwork
  • Explore major causes of birthwork burnout
  • Outline the healing support of specific flower essences
  • Learn how to begin working with flower essences
  • Identify 10 Ways Flowers Can Support Birthwork (in a beautiful handout you can print or save for future reference!)

Join us as we delve into the intersection of birthwork, flower essences, and the profound potential for healing and transformation. Together, we'll explore how these gentle remedies can nurture the soul of the birthworker and illuminate the path towards greater well-being and resilience. How to support yourself in the work, after spending lots of time learning how to support clients
